ABOUT US
The overarching objective of the High Commission of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana in Canada is to execute and promote the foreign policy objectives of Guyana through the fostering of bilateral relations between the Government and people of Guyana and the Government and people of Canada.
TRADE & INVESTMENT
Trade between Guyana and Canada has improved over the years, primarily due to the extractive sector. There are currently over thirty Canadian mining companies operating in Guyana. The discovery of oil 120 miles off Guyana’s shores presents a new area for collaboration.
TOURISM
Guyana offers a variety of attractions to tourists with varying interests. With over 300 waterfalls, large rivers, tributaries and lakes, Guyana is aptly called the Land of Many Waters.
