Police Clearances/Certificates

Applications forms for police clearance from Guyana can be obtained from the High Commission. Requirements are as follows:

Copy of Birth Certificate and Biodata page of your Guyana Passport
Three (3) recent photographs
Finger prints taken at a Police Station
Completed form

The fee of CDN $10.00, must be paid in the form of an international money order payable to the “Commissioner of Police, Guyana”.

The application should be brought in or mailed to the High Commission for onward transmission to Guyana.  Please also enclose CDN $12.00 in stamps for return of certificate.

The expected time to receive certificate is six (6) – eight (8) weeks.
